The community of Jefferson City, Tennessee is striving to help a local food truck operator who lost his truck to a fire which also damaged part of his home.
The BBQ truck, called GrillBilly Smoke, has been up and running for four years by Bill Hall and his wife, according to a Wate.com report.
"It's a process, I've become better at it over the last four years. But, yeah we love feeding people and always have," Hall told the news outlet.
Hall was preparing for a local event when the fire happened. No one was hurt in the blaze but the truck was completely destroyed. The local community embarked on a door-to-door campaign to help the Halls, and the local fire department members helped with cleanup after the blaze was extinguished.
The couple hope to have a new food truck on the road in a few weeks.
"We're down for a little bit. Down but not out. We keep telling people we'll be back smoking soon, but in a good way this time," Hall told the news outlet.
