Tennessee food truck steps up to help others amidst COVID-19 crisis

March 18, 2020

While eateries are being shuttered as COVID-19, the coronavirus outbreak continues, one East Tennessee food truck is driving forward in a different direction.

The Crazy Cubans food truck, based in Oak Ridge, are ready to deliver what ever residents, many self-isolating, need, according to a WVLT report.

Operators Lissette Rivas and her husband Eduardo Chavez are offering delivery of supplies, food, or transportation and focused on helping the elderly, big families in need and those residents with physical ailments.

"We want people to know we are there for them. If they need a hand or help don't be afraid to ask," Chavez told the news outlet.
