Tennessee town considers loosening food truck rules

January 8, 2019

The Decatur, Tennessee, city council held a first reading of changes to its food truck ordinance Monday and set a public hearing for Feb. 4, according to decaturdaily.com. The proposed changes would extend the number of days a food truck can park at a business from three to four.

The planning commission previously recommended allowing private property owners to host food trucks whenever they wanted, but the change was put on hold over questions from council members about the food truck licensing process.
