May 3, 2019

In Texas, the Deer Park City Council has approved an ordinance to allow food trucks to operate in the community, according to the Houston Chronicle

The ordinance allows food trucks to serve on private property with permission from the property owner or on city public property with the city's permission, said Assistant City Manager Gary Jackson, in the newspaper's story.

Charlie Sandberg, the city's parks and recreation director, said community feedback to the ordinance has been positive.
