City leaders in Carthage, Texas, are mulling a food truck ordinance to allow mobile eateries within city limits.
Food truck popularity is on the rise, according to city officials, and food truck operators are pushing for an ordinance to allow them to operate, according to The Panola Watchman.
Currently roadside vendors must get a permit but it's a temporary permit. City officials are considering a permit for food trucks to operate as well as rules that restaurants must follow, according to the report.
