A second food truck park has opened in Brownsville, Texas. El Patio Food Truck Plaza is located at 835 N. Expressway, just south of West Price Road on the west side of I-69E, according to the Brownsville Herald.
The owner of the 1.52-acre site, Mike Cancino, said a food truck park would be a good use of the property, which had been sitting idle.
Cancino said there will eventually be a bar serving beer and wine, and the site will also feature live music and art exhibitions. The site already has a stage and restrooms.
Burger Shack, a former tenant of Brownsville's first mobile food vendor park on the city's north side, is the first tenant at El Patio.
