Texas food truck is all about local farmers

One of the newest food trucks in Texas is all about promoting and supporting local farmers and their produce.

The Insurgent food truck, owned by Sam Lopez and Gabby Sanchez, opened in January with the goal to offer fine dining in a primarily plant-focused approach, according to a North Texas Daily report.

"[We] wanted to do something with whole foods and appreciate [a] love of quality and change that toxic [food industry] culture," Sanchez told the news outlet.

The truck will offer a rotating menu.

"It's rare to find a food truck that can offer fine dining cuisines, but Insurgent delivers," Morgan Loftin, a customer, told the news outlet.
