Thai food arrives for good in Richmond

Richmond, Virginia will soon be home to a Thai restaurant, Thai Won On, that began as a food truck enterprise.

The truck and restaurant are operated by Joy Supanya and Jon Niemiec, according to a Richmond Biz Sense report. The truck is being retired as the restaurant opens.

The restaurant is in the West End shopping center, right next to another restaurant, Redemption BBQ & Market, which also began as a food truck enterprise.

Supanya and Niemiec launched their truck three years ago.

The physical store will provide delivery and takeout as well as indoor dining.
