The Taco Station wins Oklahoma Food Truck Championship

The Taco Station won the 7th annual Oklahoma Food Truck Championship, held in Chikasha. It also earned a $10,000 prize, according to a report by KSWO.

More than 30 food trucks competed in the event and residents were able to try out the food.

"You know for a town like Chickasha, it's a lot of civic pride," Jim Cowan, president of the Chickasha Chamber of Commerce, said in the report. "Usually, to attend an event like this, they're going to have to go to the Oklahoma City Metro area or Lawton or some other larger area. The fact that they can stay right here in Chickasha, the citizens absolutely love it."
