A new food truck in Toledo, Ohio was destroyed in a vehicle crash. Owner Christopher Hooks said he purchased La Mike's Good Eating food truck just a few days prior to the incident, according to a report by 13 ABC.

The truck sold tenders, chicken fries and whatnot hamburgers, Hooks said.

"A young man was driving, on the opposite side of the street from what I understand and veered over to the left and hit the trailer and drove it into my work van," Hooks said in the report.

The man was cited for failure to control his vehicle, but Hooks says the driver should have been required to take a sobriety test.

The area around Franklin Avenue has been known for wrecks.

"This is actually the fourth incident on this street alone, neighbor here, a neighbor there and another neighbor along that; his daughter's vehicle also has been hit in this same area," Hooks said in the report.
