Three software engineers in Portland, Maine have built an app to help foodies find their favorite local food truck.
The app, called Food Truckalico, was created by Justin Velgos, mily Cheroske and Jeff Jackson, According to a News Center Maine report.
"Trying to keep track of where all the trucks were going to be and when ,quickly got really complicated because there's so many," Velgos told the news outlet.
The app's algorithm help track where trucks are in Portland based on Instagram posts and there's no charge to food trucks to be included.
"I like helping support them in the way that fits my skill-set as an app designer," he said.
The app has more than 1,800 downloads and is available in the Apple and Android app stores.
