Tulsa food truck event debuts this week

The Food Truck Wednesday event, in Tulsa, Oklahoma is starting up again this week.

The food trucks, which have numbered over a dozen in past years, will operate from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Guthrie Green and the event will also include live music, according to a News Channel 8 report. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic will keep the truck participants down this year, according to organizers.

"We are taking safety precautions very seriously. Previous years, we used to have 14 plus food truck vendors on site. We're actually starting things a little bit slower. We'll just have about six to seven food trucks on-site," Heather Alexander, vice president of programming for Guthrie Green, told the news outlet.
