Food truck operators in Tupelo, Mississippi, have had a first look at the city's proposed ordinance for their business and seem to be "largely satisfied," according to a report by the Daily Journal.
Absent from the draft were contentious proposals that had been forwarded in planning meetings. These included a ban on operations on certain busy thoroughfares and within a specified distance of brick and mortar eateries, the report said.
At a Monday meeting held to introduce the draft regulations, operators did not raise any significant objections to the proposal.
