Vegan food truck launching restaurant in North Carolina

The owner of Romeo's Vegan Burgers food truck, which boasts a 100% plant-based menu, is in the final stages of getting a brick-and-mortar restaurant open in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The eatery, which will open a little over a year since the food truck launched, will feature a drive-thru window, according to a Charlotte Observer report.

Owners Monty "Tigo B." Faulkner and Lamont Heath haven't set an official opening date but it will open on South Boulevard, where they launched their food truck.

"We feel like it's meant to be to find this location on the same road where we started — and on top of that, the fact that it has a drive-thru is the extra," Heath told the news outlet.
