Vegan food truck to replace truck with restaurant

Counter Culture, a vegan food truck in Austin, Texas, is closing its truck in favor of a restaurant. The location will be open daily with weekend brunch and evening hours, according to a report by Austin Eater.

Sue Davis, owner, said she first opened Counter Culture as a food truck in 2009 before moving to a physical location in 2012, which was then closed in 2022. She later reopened the food truck in spring 2023.

The restaurant will offer Tex-Mex dishes such as queso, nachos, loaded burrito and mac and cheese.
