Vero Beach food truck helps feed hurricane victims

September 25, 2020

The Dignity Food Truck, which operates out of Vero Beach, Florida, provided carryout food items to those impacted by the recent Hurricane Sally event.

The meals were called a "blessing," by one local resident who received the warm meals of hot dogs, beans and chips at the Oaklodge Mobile Home Park, according to a Pensacola News Journal report.

"It lets you know there is human compassion out there," Rachell Breeze told the news outlet.

The food truck drove 13 hours from its home base to help those in Pensacola and was sponsored by a Vero Beach Christian outreach ministry.
