Virginia state fair morphs into fair food weekend

While the State Fair of Virginia is not happening this year due to the ongoing coronavirus, residents will still have an opportunity to enjoy fair food as the organization is holding a Fair Food Weekend Oct. 2 through 4, at Meadow Event Park.

The Ashland event, according to an NBC 12 report, will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day using a blocking time approach to limit car traffic and pedestrian levels due to social distancing and health mandates.

Attendees are asked to register for a free timed voucher by vising here and wear a mask while attending the event.
