Virginia town restricts food trucks

November 16, 2017

The Leesburg, Virginia town council decided not to allow food trucks to operate on private property in commercial districts, but is still working on a final ordinance, according to the Loudoun Times-Mirror.

The council voted Tuesday to allow the trucks along right-of-ways in industrial districts. The regulation allows the trucks to visit the I-1 and PEC districts, around the Leesburg Business Park and office buildings near the Leesburg Executive Airport.

Council will explore further rules after conducting more research.
