Wahlberg food truck feeds Detroit hospital workers

Beaumont Hospital workers are getting a free weekly meal thanks to the Wahlburgers' food truck.

Owned by actor and restaurant operator Mark Wahlberg and business partner Nino Cutraro, the truck will offer free meals at least once a week at the Detroit healthcare facility.

The first meal was served this past Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the hospital which is located by the Wahlburgers restaurant at Woodward Corners, according to a Detroit News report.

"The Wahlberg family is grateful to the Beaumont Hospital employees for their hard work and dedication during this COVID-19 crisis," stated a press release. "The Wahlburgers truck will return at least once a week to Beaumont throughout this crisis; times will vary to accommodate a variety of shifts."
