The Planning Commission for the city of Warren, Pennsylvania, recommended approval of an ordinance for food trucks in the city. The ordinance will remove time limits for food trucks parked at meters as long as they kept the meters paid, according to a report by Times Observer.
The ordinance also restricted food trucks from parking in front of a restaurant without permission.
Commission chair Elizabeth Raible said the committee aimed to protect traditional restaurant while also letting food trucks operate downtown. She wanted to "find a good balance."
