Washington, D.C. food truck expanding free meals to needy

A food truck that has provided free meals to local communities in Washington, D.C. for the past three years has opened a second location in Michigan and is expected to feed more than 20,000 people in need, working with schools and social service organizations, according to a Yahoo News report.

The Seva Truck is operated by Sonny Kakar, who purchased a FedEx truck and painted it orange.

Kakar hopes to expand the service nationwide.
