The Waukesha, Wisconsin Common Council unanimously approved an ordinance for food trucks. This ordinance was first brought before the council in May due to a situation with a hot dog cart pouring waste and water onto the curb, according to a report by The Freeman.

This ordinance defines terms such as mobile food vendor and ice cream truck and establishes fees. An annual permit will cost $350 and daily permits are $40.

The ordinance also established a map for where mobile food vendors can operate.
