West Palm Beach police investigate food truck shooting and carjacking

Police in West Palm Beach, Florida are investigating a shooting and the carjacking of a food truck near a shopping plaza Friday morning, according to the Palm Beach Post.

The incident took place at around 5:30 a.m. next to the Publix Super Market in Paradise Plaza. A man had his food truck stolen after he was shot by a male suspect, according to a police spokesman.

The victim was taken to a hospital and his condition was unknown at the time of this report. Police described the stolen vehicle as having "Elco's Catering" written on the side. The vehicle is a blue 2002 Ford F250 food truck with the license plate GTPF71.
