Wilmington, North Carolina aims to open food truck park

Wilmington, North Carolina may soon have a food truck park called Chow Town within the next two months. The park aims to have up to six food trucks parked on site, according to a report by Port City Daily.

Chow Town will have a fence, stalls, picnic tables and lounge areas, along with outdoor games and a stage for music and open mic. There will also be two shipping containers, one for a commissary kitchen and the other for an alcoholic drink area and to sell merchandise.

Operators Zeke Nathans and Dynh Le say the park will be open to other businesses as well.

"It doesn't necessarily even have to be food trucks," Nathans said in the report. "It can be any business that operates out of a truck or trailer."
