Food trucks will now be allowed in parks in Hartland, Wisconsin, in response to requests from people who reserve park shelters or the fine arts center, according to a Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel report. Food trucks will require approval from the village park and recreation board. Mobile food facilities include trucks, trailers, carts and bicycles and can include portable fryers, stoves and grills.
Only two mobile food units will be allowed in a park at a time, and the vehicles will not be permitted to sell alcoholic beverages.
