Wisconsin's Willow Island home to food truck event

A Food Truck Friday event is happening at the Alliant Energey Center, on Willow Island in Madison, Wisconsin.

The truck lineup will vary each week, according to a NBC15.com report.

The center is teaming up with food truck operators across the county for the event, which runs through October 31. Operation hours are 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

"We started Food Truck Fridays as a way to bring the neighborhood together and support the many mobile restaurants of Dane County," Brent Kyzer-McHenry, executive director of the Alliant Energy Center, told the news outlet. "Willow Island is a perfect location to allow social distancing and allows quick, easy in-and-out access."
