Wyoming town boasts a sweet food truck option

One of the most familiar food trucks in southwest Wyoming is the Snak Shak, which launched in 2014 in Rock Springs.

The food truck sells ice cream, popcorn, cotton candy and shaved ice, according to a RocketMiner.com report.

The owner, Ranae Johnson, a Green River resident, began her food truck business as a summer effort for additional revenue and then expanded the operation from April through October.

"Our main seller is shaved ice so it's not something most people want during the winter months, so we don't operate while it's cold," she told the news outlet.
