Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's Mana Mobile hits the road

The Mana Mobile truck, which serves up handmade Teremana tequila from founder Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, has embarked on a U.S. road trip and its next stop is River Market in Kansas.

Watch out Kansas City, Kansas — the Mana Mobile truck, from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, is landing at River Market Tuesday to spread cheer and serve up the actor's Teremana handmade tequila.

The event, running from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., is the latest pit stop for the Mana Mobile which will head to Boston, Massachusetts for its stop on Aug. 14, according to the company's website.

The Mana Mobile's "Great American" road trip will bring the tequila brand to a wide variety of locations, from military bases and fire stations to local community events. It will also stop at main streets to encourage local residents to come out and support local businesses.

The brand was inspired by Johnson's phrase, "Mana. Gratitude. Tequila," according to a press release.

"The Teremana 'Mana Mobile' is a rolling envoy designed to share the Teremana Tequila philosophy of "Bring the Mana"; sharing joy and gratitude and of course some fun throughout the country to local communities," stated the release.

The Mana Mobile truck will offer Teremana cocktails as well as food items such as Johnson's favorite "cheat" meal of brioche French toasts with Teremana-infused maple syrup.

"I created Teremana to bring people together and I can't think of a better way to bring people together than bringing the Mana Mobile directly to them. Our Mana Mobile will deliver delicious Teremana cocktails, fresh and amazing eats and a whole lotta gratitude to people, towns and cities across North America," Johnson said in the release.

Teremana Tequila was created in the town of Jalisco, and Johnson worked with a Mexican family-owned distillery. Its name translates as "spirit of the earth,'' from the Latin word "terra," meaning earth, and the Polynesian word "mana," meaning spirit.
