Alabama restaurant boosting food truck strategy

A Frios franchise in Birmingham, Alabama has closed its physical restaurant but will expand its food truck presence as well as its wholesale strategy.

The owner, Michael Weidenback, shuttered his store at 569 First St. SW, at the close of 2020, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report citing a Shelby County Reporter story.

He's looking to launch a second food truck and find more businesses looking to sell the franchise's product line of gourmet pops.
