Alaska food truck debuts brick-and-mortar restaurant

Foodies in Palmer, Alaska who love the Omnivore food truck will be happy to hear the owners have opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant.

Owner Emerald Kroeker opened the eatery in the former Humdinger's location, according to a report at Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman. Her food truck launched two years ago.

"It's going pretty good so far," Kroeker told the news outlet.

For now the eatery is opening in a "soft" launch with some walk-in capability and handling to-go orders.

The restaurant offers the most popular items from the food truck along with several new menu offerings.
