Alaska welcomes a sausage-and-fries truck

One of the latest food trucks to be rolling in Alaska is Tammy's, which offers up brats and fries in Ketchikan.

Owner Tammy Bellanich said the truck represents her style and love of fun. It's the first truck to open for business since the local government eased up on mobile food operation restrictions, according to a KRBD report.

Bellanich, a Ketchikan native, runs her truck at the Walmart on Don King Road.

"It's really cool that I'm in a place that's bringing people forward that I never get to see," she told the news outlet. "This is exactly my purpose of doing this: is to get to see people and reunite."
