The Aurora Downtown food truck festival, in Chicago, will celebrate its fourth anniversary on Friday, May 3 with nearly three dozen trucks doling out food at the event. Truck participation has nearly tripled, according to a Chicago Tribune report, as 12 trucks participated the first year and organizers expect at least 30 this year.
The festival, aimed at drawing residents downtown to boost retail foot traffic, will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Truck offerings will include barbecue, pizza, lobster and tacos and Puerto Rican fare.
