Award-winning taco truck plants physical roots

The West Coast Taco Bar, which once was voted best burrito in Sacramento, California, is opening a physical restruant in Elk Grove come late spring.

The eatery, which will be located at 8791 Elk Grove Blvd., is owned by Cynthia and Ivan Garcia, according to a Sacramento Bee report. The food truck was launched in 2019 after the couple relocated from San Diego.

"This right here is something that we never imagined for ourselves, but we do it with our whole heart ... because that's how great food is made," the owners said in a social media post.

West Coast Taco Bar serves one burrito called The Bitchin Cali.
