Louisiana-based multiple restaurant concept company, Ballard Brands, has been spreading the love, food and generosity across its 155 casual and fast casual brands in recent weeks, including WOW Café, PJ's Coffee of New Orleans, The Original City Diner, Boardhouse Serious Sandwiches and Ole Saint.
In partnership with the Peyton Manning Foundation, WOW American Eats delivered nearly 2,000 meals to all seven Ochsner Medical Center campuses in and around New Orleans in mid-April 19. In fact, Ballard Brands founders and brothers, Paul, Scott and Steven Ballard helped deliver the donations throughout the New Orleans market, the company said in an email to FastCasual.
Ballard Hospitality is currently helping to execute the boxed meal programs within St. Tammany, East Baton Rouge and St. Bernard parishes in Louisiana, as well. The program has thus far provided more than 1.8 million meals to students 18-years and under through the weekly program, while Ballard Hospitality is currently serving as a frontline contractor for the New Orleans Convention Center medical facility by serving 2,000 meals per day to staff and patients.
Finally, Ballard Brands and PJ's Coffee of New Orleans delivered more than 500 cases of bottled latte and nitro products to first responders and frontline heroes at hospitals across southeastern Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region, helping to fuel their lifesaving efforts in the area.
