Food truck operators are getting more creative in the quest to stay up and running as the COVID-19 pandemic is forcing customers to stay home.
One such operator is Randy Reinecke, who runs the Cowboy Eats food truck in Baltimore, Maryland.
Not only is he now rolling through neighborhoods, rather than parking for hours in business areas and local parks, he's delivering straight to diners' homes, according to a Baltimore Sun article.
"I get a point of contact in the neighborhood and that person helps get the orders, a $400 minimum for the neighborhood. They get them to me, [and] we will fill and deliver to the customer's door fresh from a minute down the street," Reinecke told the Sun."It's going pretty well so far. I'm just glad we're considered essential so we can keep doing this for people."
