Business venture connects foodies with food trucks

A new venture in Farmington, Michigan, founded by two friends, is helping food truck operators connect with local customers.

The Food Trucks to You, a partnership between Jean Smith and Janet Bloom, helps set up food truck visits to events and local neighborhoods, according to a Farmington Voice report.

The company has a roster of nearly 70 trucks and has already scheduled truck appearances in 45 local neighborhoods as well as nine events.

"We're letting food trucks do what they do best, which is to feed people," Smith told the news outlet.

The partners hope to expand their business nationwide and into Canada next year.
