California county mulling food truck park concept

The Port San Luis Harbor District Commission, in San Luis Obispo County in California, is discussing establishing a food truck area to generate funding for harbor operations.

The commission first discussed the concept at a meeting last week, according to a New Times report. But the idea is getting some push back from at least one brick-and-mortar restaurant in the area.

The commission staff is currently researching having trucks at Harford Pier and other sites within the harbor district.
