Food trucks in Sacramento County are getting back to business now that lawmakers and health officials have modified stay-at-home rules in the wake of COVID-19.
While the stay-at-home order has been extended through May 22 food trucks are now viewed as essential and can get back to serving up fare, according to a KCRA report.
"What's good is now it gives people a lot more peace of mind," Paul Somerhausen, CEO of Sactomofo, a food truck event agency, told the news outlet. "Now it's formalized and official, so we are getting more phone calls from people we weren’t getting calls from before."
