The Tennessee Valley community has a new food truck hot spot thanks to a food truck alley now up and running in Chattanooga.
The "alley," located on Market Street in the downtown area, will be home to dozens of food trucks in a rotation approach, according to a WDEF.com report.
Food truck operators are hoping a special spot to sell food will help with financing, given the devastating impact COVID-19 has had on the foodservice industry.
The alley will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and will be a seven-day operation in warmer weather.
"So, I wanted to create kind of a little hub for them, so that they can come here on a regular basis and the community knows where to find them. So this space is really to support them," Karol Brigham, the food truck alley owner, told the news outlet.
