Connecticut pizzeria launches mobile slice trailer

A West Haven, Connecticut pizzeria is expanding its brand and footprint with a mobile slice shop.

The trailer will be serving pizza slices and other menu items from Zuppardi's Apizza at large events, according to a New Haven Register report.

The news was announced in the company's Facebook page and noted the trailer can offer up high quantities of slices, beyond what a traditional food truck offers. With the trailer the restaurant bakes pizzas ahead of time and then reheats in a convection oven on the trailer. It allows more customers to be served in a quicker fashion.
