Cookie shop launches trailer strategy

The Cookie Rich shop in Austin, Texas is expanding its reach with a storefront trailer located outside its 2201 North Lamar Boulevard store.

The trailer will go mobile for events and offers an expanded menu, according to a Eater Austin report.

The additional items available at the trailer include a frozen dessert called Cookie Crush, milkshakes, cookie sandwiches with ice cream and cinnamon rolls.

The company's production is relocating to a new building at the same location that will provide more space, according to owner Lorin Peters. New machinery will let the business bake the same number of cookies in five minutes that once took six hours.
