Corn dog food truck finding a growing fan base

A food truck franchise, The Corn Dog Company, is growing its Idaho fan base each day.

One reason may be its unique take on the corn dog, according to an Idaho State Journal report.

The truck, at 245 Yellowstone Ave., is home of the "honey dog," and the franchise has been serving up its fare for sevens years in a slew of Utah locations as well. The Pocatello, Idaho truck is part of the brand's Eastern Idaho's franchise group, according to the report.

The dogs feature homemade cornbread-style batter and a drip of fresh honey and all item menus are $6 or less.
