COVID-19 doesn't stop Anchorage food truck from launching

While most food trucks are struggling amidst the coronavirus to stay open and running one entrepreneur in Alaska views it as a good time to start a food truck.

Dao Manivong has launched the Papaya Tree food truck in Anchorage, Alaska and is being welcomed with open arms, according to a KTVA report.

The truck serves up Laos cuisine, Manivong's childhood food fare and is operating at Old Seward Highway and East Dowling Road.

"This is my dream," Manivong told the news outlet. "I love to cook, that's my hobby."

And apparently the neighborhood loves her dream as well since she literally had to shut down early on her first day as she ran out of food.
