Curry Up Now opening in Sacramento

Curry Up Now, founded in 2009 as a food truck, is celebrating the grand opening of its first Sacramento location February 21, in the Ice Blocks center at 1610 R. St. The brand operates 11 restaurants across the country with more than 40 in varying stages of development in the United States, CEO and Founder Akash Kapoor said in a press release.

"The amount of buzz and anticipation around our Sacramento opening has been overwhelming and incredible," he said. "We can already tell that this market will be a huge one for Curry Up Now, especially with the opening of an additional four locations that we have planned for the area."

The Sacramento Ice Blocks location will be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 100 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Catering and takeout will be available, and guests are invited to order ahead using the Curry Up Now mobile app.
