Dayton food truck makes funnel cakes a prime focus

A Dayton, Ohio food truck, called the Gem City Funnel Cake King, came about after its owner added funnel cakes to the truck's initial menu of fried fish and chicken.

At that point the truck was called DoCooks and owner Daquann Glover put funnel cakes on as a dessert option after customers kept asking for it, according to a Dayton.com report.

Funnel cakes then became so popular that Glover made it the three-year-old truck's prime product and added an expansive topping list.

Also on the menu are deep fried desserts, cotton candy and homemade ice cream.
