Des Moines food truck expanding into physical store

The Des Fresh Foods truck in Des Moines, Iowa is getting ready to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant at Cityville, at 550 Southwest Ninth Street.

Truck operators Stephanie Cox and Timothy Kommavongsa have been running their food truck, which serves up vegetarian food, for two years, according to a Des Moines Register report.

The truck's success is the main factor in launching a physical presence.

"Lines would form from the beginning to the very end of service or until we began running out of product, whichever came first," Cox said in a news release, according to the report. "Those awesome experiences alone made us realize we would need to expand and grow so we could accommodate our hungry and growing clientele."
