As the COVID-19 pandemic keeps families at home and has closed locations food trucks typically use to serve up their fare, food truck operators in Evansville, Indiana are finding another way to do business.
Food truck operators, according to a Courier Press report, are now visiting neighborhoods via a Facebook group request page.
The trucks available to deliver in the local neighborhoods include:
Acropolis: Greek fare available in Henderson on Wednesdays and somewhere in Evansville one other day of the week; facebook.com/AcropolisEVV/.
The Cheese Queen: gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches; facebook.com/grilledcheeselove/.
Divas Cookin: fried catfish to desserts; corner of Covert and Kentucky Avenues serving the south side; facebook.com/DivasCookinFoodTruck/.
Duffy Shuffle: fried chicken tacos with veggies and creative; facebook.com/theduffyshuffle/.
The Pizza Revolution: Neapolitan-style pizza flash-baked in a wood-burning oven; facebook.com/thepizzarevolution/.
