El Paso restaurant extending brand in Austin via food truck

A popular Texas vegan Mexican street food restaurant, Lick it Up, based in El Paso, is branching out to Austin via a food truck.

The food truck will be located at the Spider House Café and Ballroom, on 2908 Fruth Street in West Campus, according to an Eater report.

In an interesting historic twist, Lick it Up, the restaurant, opened as a food truck initially in 2017.

The current truck will be the first location outside of El Paso, noted the report, and will be run by Rolando Garza of the Cool Beans food truck. It's actually taking over Cool Beans' spot.

The truck is only accepting online orders and will be cashless.
