Fast Casual Concepts Inc. is launching a food truck program that will initially open 15 trucks within the year and expects revenue to increase by 80% more due to the initiative.
Since 2019 the restaurant chain has launched five restaurants and aims to capitalize on the $1.2 billion dollar U.S. food truck market, according to a press release. It has already begun a franchise program for its restaurants.
"All our restaurant brands have far exceeded projections. The food truck business expansion allows for a lowered financial entrance point, branding the current stores and building a brand. The additional revenue will only add to the success of the brand," Tim Seivers, COO, said in the release.
The food truck effort already has numerous events booked into 2023.
Fast Casual Concepts operates a portfolio of brands, including Holy Cow Burgers and Ice Cream, Independent Taco and Third Eye Pies, all in Pennsylvania.
