Florida food truck launching brick-and-mortar presence

NuNu's Sweet Soul Food food truck now has a big business sibling, a physical brick-and-mortar presence in Fort Pierce, Florida.

The food restaurant is open at 3210 Orange Avenue, once the site of Pam's Food Hut. Owner Patricia McNair Hearns plan to keep her food truck up and running as well, according to a TC Palm report.

"This is a proud moment for me," Hearns told the news outlet. "All the hard work actually paid off."

The truck will serve from the convenience-store parking lot at Delaware Avenue and South Seventh Street from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and Sundays.

The food truck, and now restaurant, are one of a handful of soul food eateries in the area, according to the report.
